The Mission of the Mining Technology and Training Center:

The Mining Technology and Training Center is committed to provide the best training possible for all employees of the mining industry.

We shall provide extensive safety training for new inexperienced miners.

We shall work to improve the skills of the incumbent workforce.

We shall provide mine emergency response training, including training opportunities for mine rescue teams and develop training for first
responders. Mining by its very nature is a dangerous occupation. The historical safety record of the mining industry demands this effort.
